our story
so how'd we come up with it? i was on a date with someone i was going out with at the time. when we got back, they asked, "what's a funny red flag from a past date?" i was stumped. they went first and said, "they wore driving gloves." we went back and forth a bit on it and the conversation got oddly deep for a conversation about driving gloves. we talked about how both our dads would wear them in the winter, and reminisced on childhood memories.
from there, we decided to come up with funny potential red flags and discussed. every question we came up with launched into way more conversation that we ever expected and we always went off on a tangent.
the next day, we told our friend and continued to brainstorm over 300 prompts that could be red flags, dealbreakers, or even something we did ourselves. we tested them on waitstaff and passerby's who all loved our random questions. we tested them on neighbors, friends, and family. it was always the same result: the conversation got way deeper than we expected. everyone who played wanted our list or to know where we got the questions from. so we decided to turn it into a game.
